One of our favourite hotels in Istanbul! The 4* Superior Celal Sultan is a welcoming, privately owned and managed, boutique-style hotel situated just a few minutes walk from the heart of Sultanahmet (Istanbul's historic city centre district). Quite rightly, the excellent quality of service and accommodation is reflected in the high ratings the hotel receives on certain, well-known independant internet sites and search engines. Located in a quiet street, the stylishly furnished Celal Sultan is practically within striking distance of St. Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and much, much more. Guest rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished, and all offer air conditioning, cable television, minibar etc. as standard. Additionally, the Celal Sultan is very well located for those in search of a good selection of restaurants and bars, all of which will offer a veritable feast of tastes and experiences. However, we also recommend that guests try the hotels' own Alta restaurant which serves both Turkish and International cuisine, before enjoying watching the sunset from the hotel's private rooftop terrace.
